| This position is responsible for building and driving our client’s corporate and manufacturing staffing agenda to include initiating and managing processes for leading recruitment strategies and systems. This position will work closely with all parts of the company. It is a one-person operation, reporting to the President of the Company. Will have total responsibility for all employment functions within this manufacturing company. Responsibilities:
· Using best practices, service level agreements, and innovative approaches, strengthening the Company staffing processes focusing on sourcing, talent pipeline management, interviewing, pre-employment qualifications and reference checking, and offer making · Works closely with senior leaders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies that facilitate business growth · Enhance the current talent pipeline with methods that ensure the attraction of highly qualified and diverse candidates · Developing and driving the strategy for the Company Applicant Tracking system, focusing on virtualizing and bringing online all major processes · Maintain all critical employment systems information and data for Affirmative Action Plans · Create a simple, elegant scorecard for reporting Talent Management metric which includes reporting on the quality of hire and robustness of the talent pipelines · Identify and champion diversity and outreach initiatives · Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate · Creating and implementing an outstanding “new employee" on boarding experience · Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, while creating and managing strategic alliances · Provide ongoing consulting value to clients and maximize search/recruitment efforts by remaining current on industry trends and developments · Work effectively across all levels of staff · Use effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed · Visit all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and use that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity · Review the hiring manager’s interview performance with each candidate and take appropriate action when warranted |
